Who it’s for

Dementia & Memory Support is for people living with memory changes, at any stage, and the families supporting them at home. Families often ask when:

  • Routines are slipping and a familiar person would help keep the day on track
  • The person shouldn’t be left alone for long stretches
  • A family caregiver needs regular breaks
  • Communication has changed and visits need a calm, consistent approach

Support shaped around daily life

Familiar routines

Gentle prompting and structure that follows how the person likes their day to go.

Calm communication

A communication approach recorded in the Care Plan and used at every visit.

Company and engagement

Conversation, activities and a reassuring presence at home.

Help alongside other care

Memory support can be added to companionship, household help or personal care in one plan.

Safety awareness

Attention to the safety concerns you’ve shared, such as leaving home unexpectedly.

No diagnosis or stage needed

We don’t ask families to stage dementia. We ask about practical needs: memory, routines, communication, supervision and safety. A diagnosis alone never sets the price; the actual care needed and the caregiver qualifications do. Our Care Team matches the caregiver to the support your family needs.

Pricing is based on the care arrangement — the level of support, caregiver qualifications, visit length and schedule — not on individual tasks. You’ll see the exact price in your proposed arrangement before you approve anything.

Frequently asked questions

What home support is available for someone living with dementia?

Support can include familiar routines, calm communication, company and engagement, help around the home, and personal care when assessed — all in one Care Plan. It is non-clinical.

How much does dementia support cost?

Dementia & Memory Support is priced on the level of care the person actually needs, not on the diagnosis. Your proposed Care Plan shows the exact price before you approve anything.

Do we need a diagnosis to request support?

No. We ask about practical needs — memory, routines, communication, supervision and safety — rather than a diagnosis or stage.

Can dementia support give me a break as a caregiver?

Yes. Many families combine memory support with respite so the main caregiver can step away while support continues at home.

Non-clinical memory support

FeatherKeep provides non-clinical support at home. Diagnosis, treatment and medication decisions remain with the person’s healthcare professionals.

Dementia & Memory Support does not include clinical assessment, medication administration, nursing care or emergency monitoring.
